Our Story

Arizona Health, Life, and Medicare was born out of very specific circumstances, and a combination of previous experiences.

Micaiah, the owner, is an entrepreneur at-heart having owned several business over the last ten years in multiple states. After his last position developed into a close consultation-type position with the agency owner, and four years later after many plans falling through all at once, except for the processes he had passively started to have his own agency.

Micaiah has a passion for helping people in general, but more specifically, as it applies to insurance, he wants to make sure everyone knows everything they should know—or knows how to find the answer to any question they may have—so they can make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage, Medicare, auto coverage (coming soon), and home insurance (coming soon).

Our goal is that if a client ever needs to use their coverage, they already know what to expect, how much their deductible is, and have a general idea of what is covered. Clients should be able to relax through a claim or insurance process, or quickly find emergency care, because their agent took the time to make sure they could ask questions, present scenarios, and completely understand their coverage options.

"It is rewarding to be able to relieve a mother of a task that has been on her list since healthcare season started, or since she received the "Losing Coverage" letter from her spouse's previous employment in the middle of the year."

"So many people have a misunderstanding, or common misconception of both Medicare, Medicare Plans, marketing garbage they see on the TV, hear in their cars, and even ads on their phones through social media and little games they like to play. It is so important to me that everyone not only understand their coverage, and their benefits, but the insurance system itself. So when my clients hear about a friend or someone dropping their insurance because they're not using it, they can teach their friend why it's important that premiums are still paid - it affects everyone."

As our agency continues to grow, we will be onboarding auto and home coverage to help our healthcare clients if they are looking for quotes or other options. We apply the same care and insurance education to our Property and Casualty Insurance clients.

While auto coverage is generally rather straightforward, homeowners coverage can become complicated. There are many add-ons, endorsements, and coverage options available. These endorsements often have their own terms and conditions, sometimes several pages long, defining and limiting the endorsement to the specific coverage outcome intended by the insurance company.

Those types of coverage decisions should be made only after clients have been provided the tools and knowledge needed to make a well-educated decision.

Micaiah Bennett

OWNER

Micaiah is a southern boy at heart, being from North Carolina and is sometimes referred to as a jack of all trades. His greatest passion in life is music and is a musician and composer. He took four years of culinary arts training. He has an intense passion for aviation. He enjoys the study of gems and minerals. Even at one point, he had considered being an animator for Disney. He really enjoys photography, and is an entrepreneur at heart.

His first introduction to insurance was working for an agency in North Carolina that was primarily Medicare, in 2014 and several of the business practices applied today are from that business. In 2019 (before we knew the pandemic was coming) he resigned his position as a Network Engineer to pursue his dream of being a Commercial Airline Pilot, obtaining his Private Pilot license in September of 2019. When the pandemic of 2019/2020 hit and his flight training was forced to end, he decided to take some of that time to begin studying for his Health and Life Insurance license. After joining his previous position at a local insurance agency, he began training for his Property and Casualty license and obtained it a few months later. Micaiah brings diversity to the Arizona Health, Life, and Medicare agency in the form of different layers of knowledge and experience. Bringing his tech knowledge, marketing, advertising, website creation, SEO, branding, and all the business processes he has seen fail and succeed from other previous bosses/owners, and the very own SOP's written for other companies can be applied.

Micaiah’s vision as an agent is to provide customer service beyond expectations, and to set himself apart from other agencies and other agents. He will use various skills and knowledge to grow as an agent and to bring that growth to the agency.

Micaiah’s mission as an agent is to supply every customer he works with the knowledge and understanding they need to make coverage decisions based on that knowledge. Knowledge is empowering, and to him it is important that the choices his clients make are with thorough knowledge and information to do so.

Micaiah's individual mission and vision as the owner is, to build a business people trust. I want a business where people know they will always get the truth from us, and their best interest will always be our priority. I want Arizona Health, Life, and Medicare not to be about me, but more about taking care of our aging population in the same way you would care for, prioritize, or take the time to explain something to your aging family member. I want aspiring Medicare and Health Insurance agents to learn about Arizona Health, Life, and Medicare, and learn about the process of being and agent, how to provide good care, how to listen, how lead, and how to build something people trust, even if it's just you as an agent - when you get that first referral, you'll never forget the feeling of having impacted someone else enough that they convinced someone you don't know to do business with you.

Fun Fact: Other than the computer his dad bought him in 2006, every computer Micaiah has owned has been self-built.

The Phases

Many of you may know what I mean when I say, I've realized there have been phases in life, and each has pushed me into the next. As a consumer one of the questions I ask new business owners or entrepreneurs, what lead you to make the decision to 'own' a business? So below, I aim to answer that very question for you.

PHASE  1

The Basic Skills

Working as a team in high school marching band, and culinary arts in small kitchens; and beginning at a 5-star restaurant as my first job.

Experience taught team work, how to communicate, discipline, skill refinement, and what it's like to fail, and succeed.
